I love the end-user UX and the features offered to the user (upload files, email protected download url, S3 support, etc) but this doesn't come without some faults that cost a star:

      + Installation instructions aren't for non-technicals
      + Installation instructions aren't accurate*
+ Admin area has no user management - can't change admin password nor add/remove users
+ /about , /legal , and /help pages are defined routes but not linked and are just basic returns (no real pages) - why have them at all?
+ Poor documentation - Just a README.md file that rehashes their feature list, has the installation info, and provides login info for superadministrator account (but no info on main admin account). That's it.

+ Because there's no UI to the change passwords, this would be a huge security risk for less technical users.

      * The install instructions are great for those that understand Laravel, but a nightmare for less technical users. Since I do understand Laravel, I didn't have too much of an issue... Until the database part. The author says to use `php artisan migrate:refresh -seed` except if there's no populated database then that doesn't do anything. Instead, users should omit the `:refresh` part, which will then install database tables AND populate with general data.

Overall, it's a good starter (and maybe finisher depending on needs) for technical users familiar with Laravel but definitely not for less technical users. I'll need to add my own user management (or directly inject a valid bcrypt hash) to change password (huge security issue) and either remove the page routes or create my own controller for it.
